During the last workshop We discussed the animation mostly, steve told me his motto, which was “a balanced diet is a cake in each hand” this phrase came from a china teapot his brother sent him from Australia, he sent it to Steve because he felt it represented him very well. Steve and I went slightly off topic at this point, and we had a lengthy discussion about food and all of his favorite treats.

We did a small stop start animation of him raising both hands for me to Photoshop in a cake, representing his lighthearted nature and his personal motto. I want to reflect all of these in myself and Steve’s final piece.
we also proceeded onto doing some cyanotype images, Steve drew a half finished cat (Hugo) again, and i asked him all the different things he would like to be put into the final piece. wine, cake, hugo, football balls and his family all came up. abraham and i developed them, but we forgot about them whilst they were in the sun so only a few images came out. nevertheless, it was a very good workshop :)
